On February 20-25 2008, I went vacation to Northern Vietnam, with fifteen new friends, the tour leaded by Tony. Landed in Hanoi, it was cool night and my first impression about Hanoi city, it is just like Jakarta in seventeen eras, and one thing I forget is Horn, yeah the traffic so crowded and noised, driver so easily pushed horn Button. We needed extra Careful also courage certainly to crossing street. So many good view in northern Vietnam, start for Hanoi city, we can see Romantic night in Hoan Kiem lake, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Ho Chi Minh museum, one pillar pagoda, History museum, also Temple of literature, the Vietnams first university. Outside the city we visited amazing Halong Bay, cruised Bay by Junk Boat passed so many islands, and we stayed a night on Cat Ba Island. Another day we visited Farfume Pagoda. We were cruising river by taxi canoe to Farfume pagoda. After canoeing we should walked about one hour or pay 40.000 Dong to used cable car, and I took using my food to get there, there were festival day, so many people visited Farfume pagoda, after one hour walked, I should stop because location so crowded to entering pagoda, and I took cable car to go back .Overall it was wonderful experiences, wonderful journey. Can’t wait to next Trip, Where am I Going?
